Perfect Life

Bermuda Bay and Delightful Daffodil - do I need to say more? This card is so sharp and really pops out at you!  Banner Framelits make the flags so easy to make!
  • Cut three flags, large flag Bermuda bay, medium in DSP and smallest in Very Vanilla (I am using this colour more and more and it is really starting to grow on me)
  • Stamp your sentiment, using Perfect Pennants and Bermuda Bay in
  • Punch our some stars in Delightful Daffodil, put dimensionals on the back
  • Add a bow the same colour as your stars
  • A couple of candy dots and you are done!

All Round Hi

Should be back from camping today - and hopefully we had a good time (I will let you all know tomorrow!) Todays card is one I am quite proud of. It came together in no time and just looks great - if I do say so myself!
If you are like me you have tons of DSP and other "pretty paper" in your stash that you just don't know what to do with. This card is a great way to showcase some of it.
  • Cut your DSP and top colour (in this case Bermuda Bay) at 5 3/8 X 4 1/8
  • use different size circle punches to make "holes" in your top colour.
  • Punch 3/4" circles out of complimentary colours found in the DSP - here Real Red and Early Espresso
  • Stamp  your sentiment on Very Vanilla (which is also my card base) and punch it out - I also layered it on Real Red just to make it pop again.
The trick to placing the top colour is to use your super handy green glue (Tom Bow), it doesn't bond instantly like the Snail Adhesive can which allows you some wiggle room for placement.

This card was fun to make and just by changing the punch shape you will change the look!

Flags

I had the flag stamps and punch still out from the last card I made so I made an other one! Clean and simple is how this card turned out. Notice again that I left empty space but it works!
  • Bermuda Bay is the background
  • Flags are stamped in; (from top right, down) Cajun Craze, Bermuda Bay, Tangelo Twist and Hello Honey
  • A bit of Bermuda Bay taffeta ribbon (which I didn't have to fight with nearly as long to get a bow!) and one rhinestone on my "hi" and I was done
Quick and easy

Colourful Cat

Quick post today - we are leaving for Drumheller for a few days and the boys are so excited to take Poppa to see the dinosaurs! I was given this card from an other demonstrator and wanted to share it with all of you because of the colours used. These colours - Crushed Curry, Island Indigo and Melon Mambo with a bit of Basic Black make for a very bold card. I love how she used circles of DSP!

Looking forward to a Dee-liteful trip

Clean and Bright

Quick post today! Whipped this card up in no time! Clean and bright and could always add more to the "white space". I asked Boo if he thought it needed more and he said it was perfect the way it was. I used a colour combination today - Cherry Cobbler and Delightful Daffodil. Don't they go great together? Stamped in Early Espresso, added an embellishment (something I haven't used before) and I was done!

Hope you all enjoyed this and all enjoy the first day of SUMMER!!!

Brights

Here is the first of the cards we made to go in the card box. This card uses the colours Rich Razzleberry and Island Indigo from the Brights colour group. Don't they make a sharp pairing? This card came together in under 10 minutes and uses embossing for the sentiment. The embossing makes the lettering shiny and pop out a bit more. I like the clean lines and bright colours!

I got my Starter Kit yesterday and I am itching to go and play with it so hopefully the boys will go to bed nicely tonight so I can get in my craft room and create!

Have a Dee-vine day!
